Historic flooding triggered by the two typhoons devastated many parts of Cao Bang, causing severe impacts on local communities. The circulation of Typhoon No. 11 brought historic flood levels, with peak water levels exceeding the 1986 record by nearly one metre. The thiên tai caused one death, two injuries, inundated or damaged more than 7,500 houses, and destroyed over 5,000 hectares of rice and crops.

Households received VND 2.4 million per month for families with up to two members, and VND 4 million per month for households with three members or more. This support helps families address immediate difficulties and meet essential needs while awaiting the next harvest.
