In this round, more than VND 3.8 billion was given directly to 991 households in Hoa An, Can Yen, and Thanh Long communes. After the distribution, Mr. Nguyen Van Tien, Deputy Director General of VDDMA, and Ms. Dao Thi Hong, Country Representative of CRS in Viet Nam, along with the mission team, visited and encouraged households heavily affected in Can Yen Commune.


This activity is under an aid package valued at nearly VND 6 billion from CRS in Cao Bang Province for Hoa An, Thanh Long, and Can Yen communes, with 02 benefit levels: VND 2.4 million for households with 02 members or fewer, and VND 4 million for households with 03 members or more. In the 1st phase (17 November), more than VND 1.5 billion was given to 410 households in Hoa An Commune. It is expected that in early January 2026, VND 604,210,000 will continue to be given to people in Hoa An Commune. This is a timely effort to reduce hardship and help highland people recover early after the disaster.
