Up to now, there are 4,665 communes (52.4%) recognized as meeting NTM standards and 93 district-level units recognized by the Prime Minister to meet the standards or complete the task of building a new countryside. In particular, the country has 07 provinces and cities with 100% of communes meeting new rural standards (including Ha Nam, Nam Dinh, Thai Binh, Da Nang, Dong Nai, Binh Duong and Can Tho).
