The maximum wind speednear the center of tropical depression wascategory 7, gust of category 9.

Forecast in the next 12 hours, the tropical depression willheadNorthwest, every hour about 25km and is capable of becoming a storm. By 13:00 on December 20, the storm's position was about 11.0 North latitude; 114.7 degrees East longitude, just south of Song Tu Tay Island (Spratly Islands).
