In the non-project activities, Mr. Larry Sutton - USFS Specialist worked with VNDMA in the week from 10 to 14 June 2019. Mr. Larry worked with leaders and official of departments in VNDMA about Vietnam disaster management structure and strategy and proposed supported activities which USFS can assist Vietnam to enhance capacity in disaster management in Vietnam.

On 12-13th June, Mr. Larry and VNDMA's official visited and worked with Thanh Hoa Provincial committee of Natural disaster prevention and control, search and rescue. Then, the delagation visited Hoang Hoa Disaster management coordination Center where U.S. Pacific command and U.S. Embassy supported to build on 2013.

VNDMA appreciated the People of the United States of American's support and is continuing working with USFS to develop the coordination programme between VNDMA and USFS in 2020.
