On March 10, 2025, in Ho Chi Minh City, the Vietnam Disaster and Dyke Management Authority (VDDMA), in collaboration with the ASEAN Coordinating Centre for Humanitarian Assistance on Disaster Management (AHA Centre), organized a training course to enhance the humanitarian logistics capacity of ASEAN member states.

The five-day training course, taking place from March 10 to 14, 2025, brings together members of the ASEAN Emergency Response and Assessment Team (ASEAN-ERAT) from all 10 ASEAN countries, along with experts in humanitarian logistics. This program aims to strengthen timely disaster response capabilities while also reinforcing cooperation networks among ASEAN nations in humanitarian assistance efforts.
As an active member of ASEAN, Vietnam remains committed to enhancing disaster management capacity and humanitarian support in the region. Hosting this training course demonstrates Vietnam’s responsibility and dedication to promoting ASEAN cooperation, improving emergency response capacity, and ensuring efficiency in humanitarian relief efforts.
