To take the initiative in preventing and responding effectively as well as reducing the damage caused by flash floods, flash floods and landslides, the Prime Minister requested strict management and handling the work of mining activities, illegal mineral exploitation that causing landslides and pit collapses cause loss of human in the mining area.
To proactively prevent and respond effectively, reduce damage caused by flash floods, floods and landslides, the Prime Minister requested the organization to review, identify and plug warning signs of foods, flash floods and landslides flood prone areas to villages, hamlets, households, public constructions (especially schools, medical establishments), traffic routes and production areas. Ensure that there are warning sigs in place of prone flood for active safety relocation or readiness to evacuate when large floods occur. Implement urgent drainage and offloading solutions to reduce the risk of slippage and ensure the safety of the constructions and residential areas during the rainy season.
The Prime Minister requested the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD) to direct and review the work of ensuring the safety of the dams, checking the preparation of manpower, materials and equipment and the plan for responding to the dam incident, especially small and average dams that managed by local authorities.
In addition, direct the conversion of agricultural production, seasonal calendar and selection of plant varieties and animal breeds, advanced irrigation technology, water saving that suitable to climate characteristics, natural disasters in each region, limited risks in produce activities and so on.
