On the evening of June 14, after moving deep into inland southwestern Guangdong Province (China), Storm No. 1 weakened into a tropical depression.
Forecast: The tropical depression will continue northeastward into inland Guangdong, weakening and dissipating gradually, with no direct impact expected on Vietnam.

Heatwave forecast in Northern and Central Vietnam
On June 15, Northern Vietnam and the area from Thanh Hóa to Phú Yên will experience hot weather, with peak temperatures generally between 35–37 °C and locally exceeding 38 °C. Starting June 16, the heat in the north will ease, while Central Vietnam may continue to see high temperatures for several days.
